Small Rolled Rose - Free Crochet Pattern

These small crochet rolled roses can be used for hair/ head accessories, crochet jewelry or to decorate other items.

STITCHES AND ABBREVIATIONS (US TERMS)
ch: chain

sc: single crochet

hdc: half double crochet

dc: double crochet

tr: triple crochet

SUPPLIES:

- embroidery floss, approx. 1 floss for 1 flower

- crochet hook size 1.5mm

- sewing needle

- scissors

Size: 3 - 4 cm
(Using other materials and hook sizes you'll make different rose sizes.)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Chain 56.

Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd chain from hook and 1 sc in each of next 3 ch,
(1 ch, 1hdc, 1 ch, 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 tr, 1ch, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 ch. 1 sc) x 3 times,
(1 ch, 1 hdc, 1 ch, 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 tr, 1 ch, 1 tr, 1ch, 1tr, 1ch, 1dc, 1ch, 1hdc, 1ch, 1sc) x 4 times, ch1.

(7 petals made: 3 smaller, 4 larger)

Row 2: Work along the opposite side of the starting chain and over the tail, 1 sc in each st across.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew the rose in shape.

Roll the petals beginning with the smaller end and stitch as you roll along the sc edge.
