I have finally took the time to blog about this hat I made my husband as a Christmas gift.

The yarn was provided by Red Heart Yarns.


I needed a quick gift and had no time to design and write up a pattern, so I have searched the web for something I had in mind.
And I found it! A knit-look ribbed Crochet Hat that it is worked sideways! I love the crown shaping! It's not bulky at all!

The only boyish yarn that I liked enough in my stash was a skein  of Red Heart Baby Hugs Light Yarn, colorway Dolphin, that I have received from Red Heart Yarns a while ago.
 This yarn is very soft and confortable to wear not only for babies! And it has the added
benefit of being tested to be free from harmful levels of over 300 substances.

 My hat is not as slouchy as on the one on the pattern page, because my yarn is thinner as in the pattern indicated. But I really like it this way!

With the brim folded over, it look like this:
