Author: Edie Eckman

BOOK REVIEW:
This awesome book with 139 crochet border patterns is a great resource for any crocheter, no matter the skill level.

I really love that each pattern in this book is presented as written instructions and diagrams in both rounds and rows. Visual crocheters will surely appreciate the detailed step-by-step pictures!

For a quick find, each pattern is tagged with attributes, such as: reversible, wide, medium, narrow, undulating, straight, motifs, open/lacy, layered, fringy, and textured.

Beside the border patterns, you will find lots of helpful information how to choose an appropriate border for each project, how to customize your borders, to combine them by taking elements from one or more borders; how to crochet borders into fleece & into woven fabric and so much more! Eddie also explains how different fibers, yarn colors and weights will influence your projects. She mentions about the importance of the gauge and the stitch multiples, walking you with case studies through the math behind.

This book would be a great addition to any crocheter's collection!

Now let's see the pattern that I was allowed to share with you for free on my blog!
