Welcome to Week 2 of the Wildlife Grapghghan Crochet-along!
Let me introduce you Lolo, the little Chimp! Isn’t he super cute? Look at those sweet eyes! I really love him!

The pattern for Chimp Lolo C2C Square includes written row by row instructions for color counts follow with color pixel graph below.

GAUGE: 6 C2C tiles = 10 x 10 cm (4 inches x 4 inches)
SIZE: the square is 25 tiles x 25 tiles and measures 14.5 inches X 14.5 inches (37 cm x 37 cm)
SUPPLIES used:
- yarn: Red Heart Super Saver ( yarn weight: Medium 4) in 6 colors:
- Spring Green approx. 170 yds (155 m) for the background
- Aran approx. 1 yd (1m )
- Oatmeal approx. 22 yds (20 m)
- Coffee approx. 79 yds (72.5 m)
- Warm Brown approx. 65 yds (59.5 m)
- Black approx. 5 yds (4.5 m)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
ABBREVIATIONS:
- RS: right side
- WS: wrong side
Color abbreviations:
- g= green (Spring Green) - this is the background color - if you like, you can replace it with any contrasting color of your choice
- bl= black
- o= oatmeal
- c= coffee
- br= brown (Warm brown)
- a= aran
NOTES:
For Chimp Lolo square you will work the uneven rows on the wrong side of work , (as opposed to the Lava Fox square where we have worked the even rows on the wrong side)!
The even rows for the chimp square will be worked on the right side of work.
Ones again: uneven rows = wrong side (WS)
even rows = right side (RS)
You will work the C2C square on the diagonal starting from bottom right corner to top left.

Note: You need to be aware that the first row with color changes is an uneven row, so you will be working on the wrong side of work! That means that you will have to place the yarn strands to the front of your work!
