The Macaw or Parrot Corner to Corner Square is a free crochet pattern that you can find right here, on My Hobby is Crochet blog!

As all the animals/birds blocks featured in the Wildlife Graphghan Crochet-along, you can also use the parrot block on it’s own, to make for example pillow cases. They would make such lovely gifts for kids ….and grown ups too! :)

The Parrot C2C Square it's a free crochet pattern that includes written row by row instructions for color counts follow with color pixel graph below.

For detailed instructions and video tutorials for the corner to corner method with the half double crochet used + crisp color changes, check out the Wildlife Graphghan CAL Page!

SUPPLIES :

This corner to corner block it's such a great stash buster! I have used many leftover yarns from my other animal block designs.

Feel free to use the colors of your choice for the parrot or for the background! If you would like to keep it more simple, with less color changes, you could let aside the grey color in the face, replacing all the gray color blocks with white blocks.

NOTES:
1. You will use the C2C with the hdc, working the square on the diagonal starting from bottom right corner to top left.
