Gorilla C2C Square
This free Gorilla c2c crochet pattern includes written row by row instructions for color counts, telling you how many c2c box stitches to make of each color and in what order.

GAUGE:
6 C2C tiles X 6 c2c tiles = 10 x 10 cm (4 inches x 4 inches)
SIZE:
the square is 25 tiles x 25 tiles and approx. measures approx. 16 inches X 16 inches (40 cm x 40 cm)
SUPPLIES:
- The Yarn:
Worsted weight yarn in green, black, dark gray(charcoal), lighter grey (grey heather).
I'm using Red Heart Super Saver yarn in following shades (I am adding a bit more for each color for the yarn ends!)- Frosty Green for the background approx.95-98g (approx.174 yards)
- Blackapprox. 68-70g (approx. 125 yards)
- Charcoal approx. 19-21g (approx. 35 yards)
- Gray Heather approx. 20-22g (approx. 36 yards)
- 5.5 mm crochet hook (My hook is a Furls Wooden Hook)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
STITCHES, TERMS AND ABBREVIATIONS:
(I'm using US TERMS in all my patterns!)- ch : chain
- hdc: half double crochet
- c2c: corner to corner crochet
- slst : slip stitch
CROCHET METHOD C2C WITH THE HALF DOUBLE CROCHET :
- You will use the C2C with the hdc, working the square on the diagonal starting from bottom right corner to top left.
- Each box stitch/block is made of ch2 and 3 hdc.
- ch5 to start an increase row, work hdc in 3.rd, 4th and 5.th ch from the hook.

NOTES:
2. ↗ Uneven rows will be on the wrong side of work from bottom to top ↗.
3 ↙ Even rows will be worked on the right side of work from top to bottom ↙ .
4. For the uneven rows (left side) you will place the yarns to the front of the work! The first row with color changes in the graph (Row 13) it's an uneven row, so you will be working on the wrong side of work, read the row on the graph from the bottom to top and place the yarn strands to the front of your work!
5. For the even rows (right side) you will place the yarns to the back of the work!
